Zombies, during the day, running at you from every direction? What kind of madness is this? Follow-up to last year's hit Left 4 Dead, Valve improves greatly upon the online co-op run and gun zombie-killing carnage formula in its follow-up, contrary to 37,000 some boycotter's beliefs.

First thing's first, the intro video the game plays, because it's damn cool, and sets the mood perfectly for the game, even if it's a bit over-the-top in the explosions department compared to the actual game:

So far it appears 5 of us have the game already pre-ordered (for PC) as far as I can tell via our Steam group (join it please). Would be cool to get a static group together for running through the game when it's officially out, preferably on Advanced/Expert, and the new Realism mode if that's not too brutal on Expert.
Never played a Left 4 Dead game? Go grab the demo (requires Steam on PC, or you can grab it off the Xbox Live Marketplace if you prefer gaming on the 360) while it's still up and give it a whirl before it gets taken down upon the game's official release date, November 17th.
Photo montage time! From my third playthrough of the demo, visuals maxed out at 1920x1200 spare MSAA (which is at 2x), resized to 800x500 since I doubt the majority of you want to scroll horizontally on this page:
