So what? You're missing that fucking growth hormone shit? Get that fucking plasmid, His-6 tag it, grow it up in some e-coli or yeast, purify that shit with a Ni-NTA column, clip the His-6 tag and INJECT that shit up. Problem solved.

For 10K I'm sure you could make grams of it and ensure it's purity (SDS-PAGE, MALDI-TOF after Trypsinolysis) to 99%. Shack up with some local biochem grad student and pay them to do the work.

And relax. If you're worried about the purity of the protein, run it through a sepharose size exclusion, then use an anion/cation exchange column based on pI, then fucking, I don't know... run it both retentate and filtrate through some centracons. Maybe top it off with multiple rounds of 1000x dialysis.
