Likewise in response to previous posts, since everyone else seemed to be specifying. . .
I, too, like rough sex - however, I propose that slow, sensual, imaginative sex > rough sex.
I like to involve the mind. I like to be creative. And I like surprising people. That addition to the list applies to all sorts of not-necessarily-sexual activities, too. :X
Sometimes, "Oh my God, that's never happened to me before!" is a good thing to hear in the bedroom (or wherever you are).
Also, I like receiving mail. <3

Agreed. Going rough is fine and good sometimes, but it DOES get old after a while. Going slow allows for more sensation and, often, a prolonged experience. It's not a race, after all.

rough doesn't mean quick actually...
A nice play dom/sub can be 3/4 hours long with many creative variants and deviances ^^
