you know.... montreal has alot cooler shit than we do here...
I've only been to Montreal once, and we only had time to hit a few stores before the concert we were there to see started.
One of the stores though was a Gamestop (I'd never seen one before, they weren't really in Ottawa yet) and that place tainted my view of Gamestops ever since xD
The prices for ordinary games were fine, they had the standard "1 for 15, 2 for 20" on used games and whatnot... but their older games were ridiculous. They didn't have a single NES game that wasn't under $50 save for Mario 1 that was 'only' $25. Ogre Battle 64 was $250, even Chrono Trigger was $100 without a box or instructions. I mean, I looked a bunch of the games there and they were grossly overpriced, the fact I'd bought Ogre Battle 64 a few months earlier for $15 just made it that much more pathetic to see it for $250.
A few of the clothing stores were pretty pathetic in terms of proper pricing as well. You hit Montreal and everything seems to double in price... though I hear the housing there is cheaper, never looked myself. That's one thing I hate about big cities though, you have to pay a premium for stuff just because you're in a big city.
