is it possible to have a map of the city up on the main page and everyone puts a dot up to represent themselves? maybe different coloured dots for upcoming events, or commonly used things like the war memorial and major bus stations?

clearly, we've functioned without one, but i always found them to be a really professional, neat, bang-up touch to any site.

because i'm not a computer person, i can draw it in person easier and faster. if i don't find an example by saturday, i'll draw you one.
