What does it take to get a job around here?

Something bugging you? Got a cause you want to let people know about? Then climb up on the soapbox and make yourself heard.

Fast Food is going to be PACKED with people on their summer break, I imagine if you reapply to half of these places in the fall you'll have better luck.

This I know. But the problem is, I can't wait until fall. I'm about $9,700 in debt, with absolutely no source of income to make my monthly payments.

Not sure they'll take a physical resume. They tend to only accept online applications most times. Supposedly.

Right now my understanding is that it's our external warehouse that's badly looking for people so if your going ot try and drop off an actual resume, try leaving one there.

In case anybody is at all curious/interested, I have managed to acquire two job interviews  :D
One at Second Cup, and the other at Carleton Cards. Nothing super special, but hopefully one of them will JOB GET.

[This is totally Scarlet, NOT GOLD (fer realz)]

So, I went to the interview this morning. And JOB GET at Second Cup. However, they plan to rip me off by requiring me to pay $50 for my uniform. It was unclear if this would include pants or if I had to provide my own, but even still... $50 for shirt and apron, with or without pants? That's outrageous.

However, JOB GET is still awesome in it's own right. If I get a job offer at Carleton Cards, I will likely take it over Second Cup (more retail experience means better job if I need to change in the future). Otherwise, I will pay outrageous uniform fee and work at Second Cup.

Mmm, Chocolate Chillers. Yum.
Amidst the mists and fiercest frosts,
With barest wrists and stoutest boasts,
I thrust my fists against the posts,
And still insist I see the ghosts.
