Politically correctness: A brief summary of my thoughts on this particular and wonderful topic.
I hate it, hate it, hate it, hate it.
In my opinion.
Rascism is bad. Discrimination is bad. Hitler is bad. Saying a different culture is savage simply because they don't conform to your expectations is bad. Invading France just so you can unilaterally pass army reform bills through a hostile parliament is bad. BUT SERIOUSLY I AM NOT GOING TO STEP ON EGG SHELLS JUST BECAUSE WHAT I SAY COULD BE CONSTRUED AS A PERSONAL ATTACK. If something is not meant to be a personal attack, then it's not a personal attack. Don't go assuming the world's against you, or that that "Holier than thou, I'm a Big L Liberal!" bull crap with me. If I feel like being rude, and I use a rude word, odds are there is a reason for choosing this particular word. Or maybe, I personally don't associate that word with all the negativity you do. I'm sorry if I offend you, but it offends me when you tell me what I can and cannot say. Especially considering how overall moderate I am, unless you want to talk history but since 99% of the world wouldn't know what I'm talking about I'm pretty sure I'm covered. BLEH!

Oh yes, and sometimes I'll say something deliberately terrible in a sarcastic voice with a laugh plastered across my face. In this situation please realize I'm attempting to show how ridiculous said comment is rather than attempt to sway people to a particular mode of belief. For instance, if I call a hot man "A fag" then kiss him or squeal about some hot guy on the sidewalk, it's not really meant as an insult, but more an ironic/self mocking sense since I just subjected my self to the term as well. In sum: Down with PC/Grow a pair.
