what's the best cell phone provider?

yeah, I'm sorta in the same boat right now. I've been hooked into a family plan with Rogers and am not enjoying it much. We did recently put free texting and call display on it, since I've actually started to use the phone for the last year or so.

I'd love to find another provider, cause all I really need is something with a good network and free texting. I'll keep my eyes on Virgin, Fido (which my sister is on) and Koodo (who's adds make me want to set fire to their office).

cool well i settled for fido 2yr contract, basic stuff. it's only 50 of minutes/text/month but i only wanted teh unlimited evening/weekend calls. they had exact plan Ironklaw wrote about too. in the end it was flip a coin between fido and koodo.
