hi everyone

i'm really new.
i am also gainfully employed.
i want to have a good image to post with my soon-coming introduction.
this is where you come in.

i figure i've got between $100 and $300 to drop on some awesome art.

just a few basic questions from anyone interested:

1) how many images for 100? how many for 300?
2) rough turn around time?
3) what information do you need about the subject/setting/etc?
4) if this subject is my furry self, does it help to meet/see me?
5) you better do the hot porno art too.
6) are you an arts student / broke-ass young person?

i'm quite partial to arts students and broke-ass young persons, having been one myself very recently. i know scratch can get very tight vs what you want to do at that age and place in life.

hope some good negotiations can be worked out. i don't want to introduce myself by text alone.

And this is why there are hardly any furry writers. No one posts 'Looking for furry writer to blow dosh on!'

Man, I would work hard for that kind of paperwork.

You forgot "A dingo ate my baby" ... I'll never forgive you. Though Fair Dinkum comes close to satisfying me.

man i thought these were hard(er) times for a bunch of people. including a roughly proportionate number of furs.

i'm trying to almost throw money away on pure luxury here. i'm fortunate enough to work in the construction boom still happening in town. we're one of the very few companies in town looking to pick up new people. 'recession' or not, don't people like money to begin with? i'm getting no serious bites. not even an answer to any of my questions.

i anticipated portfolios and sample art clips to try and grab $300 for a small number of hours' work.

is it the city atmosphere? the civil servants and union members need to have a meeting to decide when to form an advisory board to schedule  a meeting about when to think about what kind of message might be sent to ask about how green the money is before having a dinner meeting to decide when to have a meeting to form a comittee to consider what font the reply could be in?

Probably has something to do with there only being around 3-4 people on this forum that draw.

Last I checked I'm the only student artist here, but I'm not taking commissions.  All the upper-end artists I know in the local area don't post here, and already got their hands full posting adult stuff on particular sites.   :?

Pretty much got it right there. I'm not a student anymore and haven't been since I graduated from Algonquin in.... 2005-6? I'm also not one of the upper-end artists, but I was curious though, cause I am open for commissions. However, I don't meet the one criteria -- I do not and will not draw porn for any amount of money. ^^; So that cancels me out right there.
