Capital Furs

Greetings,

Some of you already know me as Draco or Ravana_Draco on an older version of this forum back in 2005. I did live in Ottawa at the time, but I moved to Calgary, and I'm not planning to move back anytime soon. But who knows, life has a tendency to flip you about sometimes.

My parents, however, moved back to Ottawa and I do visit them on occasion, and if time permits, depending on my synchronicity with local events there and assuming it wouldn't be too invasive of me, I wouldn't mind seeing the lot of you again sometime. If that is not possible, no worries. I shall not be presumptuous enough intrude any group I use to know without fair notice.

At any rate, I see this forum has gone through a face lift and, therefore, the photo of me in Sept/Oct 2005 is gone to which I would have made reference to here. Some of you know that I have moved to Calgary back at the end of 2005. Why am I posting here if I don't live in Ottawa? As mentioned in the above, I have family there that I visit.

Ever and Indref - visited you a couple of times with Viper
Gabarus - Good chap
Peacimowen (you would know me from my aborting attempt at being on the C-ACE staff for security)
Viper - good boy with a good heart
Vera - cool guy
..and a couple of others I can't recall the names of

No. I'm just being really cheeky.

Yes, it's me. Again, being cheeky.

"Do you miss the Ottawa furry community?"
Yes, for numerous reasons. Let's just say I find the Calgary furry community "rough" for lack of a better euphemism. The nature of the people out here is severely lacking in culture, and it has given me cause (time and again) to jump in and out of the local furry community here. With my latest "jump in," things seem to be going better than before I arrived in Calgary in 2005. But mountains *drools* Lofty, lofty mountains. DO WANT! I cannot get away from them.

"What is your vested interest in this board after nearly 5 years?"
Let's see.
-There are a number of you I liked.
-Wouldn't mind seeing you again...and
-I have plane tickets for seeing me parents from Dec 11-Jan 5 this year, following that, see the above two notes. After reading it a second time do not get stuck in a loop.

"What have you been up to, Draco?"
-Busy at work and, therefore, out of trouble.
-Weightlifting, going on since May 2009.
-Visiting Banff, Canmore, Jasper, Lake Louise, hiking and camping
-Engaged in healthy living and keeping well.

Not really, but there is a meet of some descript at least once a month, often once a week, so I'm sure there will be a gaggle of furs to drop in on at any one time.
