Role-Playing Section Vote/Vote Pour Une Section De Role-Play

Postby Ironklaw » 28 Mar 2009, 18:25

This is a simple vote. It was proposed that we create a role-playing section and then later suggested that we should put it to a public vote. This vote will last 5 days.

If the "yes" option wins, then we'll create a role-playing section. If "no" wins, then we won't. Straightforward.

If "yes" takes it, please allow a day or so afterwards for the section to open so that we can write a simple rule set for it.

------------------------

Dont really care about if we do or not, so I just voted yes by default since I honestly see no reason not to have one if thats what some folk would enjoy. I certainly have fun with PBP games on forums dedicated to them and there's plenty of folk into RP in the fandom here, so it may attract a few more furries.

See the following:
"If "yes" takes it, please allow a day or so afterwards for the section to open so that we can write a simple rule set for it."

Or in this case, a week and a half.  I'm sure IK/Meer have been busy and probably momentaryly forgot.  Not every school graduates early like you damned programmers ;)

Oh I'm not one to critique ;).

As it stands this particular section has no effect on myself, but my bureaucratic side needs to kick in here and point out deadlines simply aren't being met.

Boy, are you guys going to pay for that in front of the committee during your performance review ;).

Thanks for the heads up *sacks the performance review committee, whistles innocently*

Sid's right though, completely forgot. Gimmie a few minutes and I'll tack it on.

EDIT: It's up guys, we'll figure out some basic rules for it since RP can be a bit trickier than OOC conversations in terms of what kinds of rules need to be applied. Until then, you're all big boys and girls so use some common sense, don't harrass/abuse/be otherwise unpleasant to people and I'm sure it'll all work out.

Suggestions for rules are always welcome, so if you have any please don't hesitate to PM either IK or myself and we'll talk about it.

The motion has been seconded.  It must now be forwarded to a bipartisan sub-committee for consideration before being put to a vote after no later than 1 week.

Aren't referendums fun?
