This topics for discussing all the things in your lives that you can't believe you fell for. This can be something you believed in, someone who stole from you that wasn't ever caught, or even something like a get rich quick sceme you had faith in. How many times have you been tricked into paying for lunch after you were sure it was someone elses turn? Or paid much more for something you could have gotten cheap? Have any of you lent out something to someone, only to see that they moved to a different province days later (in possession of your item)?

Once upon a time

I handed my jacket to a stranger at an amusment park who was behind me in line, to hold for me while i was on a ride. Once i got off, the stranger had taken off with my jacket.

I can't believe i didn't see it coming.


Just last year

I was walking around in a mall with my "friends" when the alarms at the entrance to a store went off.

Someone stuffed merchendise in my pack when i wasn't looking. And my "friends" who probably also set off the alarms with their own loot bolted away, and i was the only one to get caught.

Jeeze, you think you know somebody.

Brilliant is all I can say about that.

I was told that the "Badger badger badger" song had a surprise ending, you just had to let it play long enough. About 30 minutes later I had a "Hey wait a minute..." moment.
