Hello everyone, big bull here!

Postby Daninator » 23 Oct 2009, 12:55

Hi everyone!

I've been on the periphery of furry life in Ottawa for a while, and decided to jump in.

I won't share my fursona with you right now because I still suck at art. Sorry! You'll have to be satisfied with a picture of me until then.

I'm 26, and gay. I play rugby, am a geek (love board games and video games, especially my nintendo Wii), am artistic (I fancy myself a writer, and trying to improve my drawing), read a lot, and live in lowertown (just east of the Byward Market).

I'm 188 cm tall and weigh 130 kg (6'2, 290 pounds); I'd like to look more like my fursona, who's the same height (if you don't count the horns) but much wider (I'm a big fat bear, and my fursona is a bigger bull :P). You'll see when I have the ability to draw him.

Daninator's my user name, but you can call me Guntar (or my given name, Daniel).

I''m a serious boy who loves to be silly. I enjoy goofing off, just hanging out, dancing (love DDR), but also love working hard on my writing, analysing books; I'm pretty easy going...

I'm shy (trying to work on it), but a big hugger.

Heh, I've played Twilight Imperium quite a few times. I don't own it, but it's a fun game. Last time I played, I almost won--and then almost got completely wiped out. It was fun!

You want to get a game going, let me know! I'll take you on for galactic conquest anyday!

Fresh -meat-, eh?
Let's have yourself and Red over for a barbecue!

I really just wanted to toss those aside as quickly as I could.

Welcome bullman! I used to play Rugby in highschool. Of course we didn't have a proper feild, or the proper equipment, or the proper rules but we did have a rugby ball! Everyone went to class injured, since the elevated manhole in the middle of the feild as well as the miscelaneous rocks kept cutting our skin and bruising our bones.

You actually live pretty close to where I work. I'm at the intersection of Murray and Dalhousie right now.

And finally, for those folks who don't Reddit, and haven't caught on:

Just so you know, I go really well with ketchup and lettuce

Rugby is such a great sport. I love it dearly. I still have an injured finger from the rugby tournament I went to over thanksgiving. I'm big and fast, and I love the expression on people's faces when I charge them down.

There's nothing like running with a ball at full speed before lifting your head to look ahead of you, only to see 2 guys twice as big as you charging from both direction right at you. That... is truely an "Oh Sh...!" Moment, because you can't finish your thought when you're flying through the air like that, clutching to that melon-shaped ball like it was your child.

Your leathery, air filled child.

True, that! I'm lucky in that I'm always one of the biggest guys on the field. Usually, if there's anyone bigger than me, I can outrun them easily. But I've still been taken down, hard and had the same moment of horror.

By the way, how do you like working in Lowertown?

I love Lowertown; I live and work here. The Rideau River is, in my opinion, the best place to run in the city; I frequently run down to Billings Bridge and back along the Rideau River.

I put a deposit on a condo in Centretown, so I'll be moving there in 2 years, and I'll be sad to leave Lowertown.

Hope you like it as much as I do.
