So, I'm assuming that pretty much nobody has heard of F2. With that in mind, let me explain. F2 is a furry, musical, collaborative project that Dros, Spaz and I have been toying with for the last little bit. Seeing as not everyone contributes to every thing we work on, we decided to make it a collective of sorts. That being said, I don't know about the other guys, but I'm always interested in seeing what other people are capable of creating. Oh! And if you want more info on the group so far, we have a WikiFur page that you guys can check out, if you feel so inclined.
If you ARE interested in collaborating, let me give you the rundown of what kind of music the group generally creates. Mainly, so far we've been working mostly in the realm of electronic music. Both Spaz and I have sequencing software on our computers and he's got a midi keyboard he uses to compose. I'm not positive, but I'm operating on the assumption that we're remaining in that realm. However, the whole project is about experimentation and things like that, so it's always interesting to blend different styles.
I know that some of you can play instruments and/or have experience with sequencing software like Reason and Fruity Loops so that sort of thing is always an asset. I don't know if anyone's going to get into this idea, but it's something to throw out there. The beauty of this kind of group is that you don't even need to be in the same house or even the same country for it to work. All you need to do is pass along the work file for the song (or an MP3 or WAV if we don't have the same programs) and we can bounce ideas off of each other. Anyway, just a little food for thought.
Oh! We do have a song that's been finished so far and, if you'd like to hear it, all you need to do is follow the link.
Right-click here and save as to download "Aftermath" (It's a Mediafire link, it's the best I can do). It's a fairly different piece, as the vocals are spoken, rather than sung. Anyway, feedback is always appreciated.
