Capital Furs

Kitties are a treat so sweet
it's kitties that I love to eat
with twitching ear and supple hair
pouncing gayly with no care

Toss them in some curry sauce
Or teriyakis worth the cost
Boiled or baked can be good too
Or cut them up for steak or stew

Their gleaming eyes are the best part
pop them out for a la carte
Kittens aren't cheap this much is true
but set some traps that's what to do

and when the kitten's caught up fine
Into powder bones will grind
use this for some kitten soup
strain the broth and keep the goop

This goop works fine for basting sauce
all the beef, with half the cost
These recepies will bring you luck,
at Chapters now for twenty bucks

I well know that this is a joke,
But my humor is currently choked,
It's rather too soon,
For this joke to loom,
Since my kitty just recently croaked.
